What One-on-One Therapy Looks Like at The Reset
As part of our residential mental health retreat program, guests participate in around 4 one-on-one counselling sessions per week, with experienced and qualified psychologists. These sessions allow you to deeply explore feelings and insights in a safe environment and apply them directly to your personal circumstances.
Our psychotherapists work collaboratively with each guest, helping them better understand their emotional patterns, thought processes, and behavioural responses. These sessions evolve naturally based on what you want to work on and what feels most important in your healing journey.
Therapy at The Reset Bali draws from several evidence-based psychological approaches, including:
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to identify and reshape negative thinking patterns. Beneficial for clients that struggle with anxiety, depression, phobias, PTSD and eating disorders
- Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) to strengthen emotional regulation and coping skills for clients that experience emotional dysregulation (Borderline personality disorder BPD or self-harm)
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to build psychological flexibility and resilience through acceptance, mindfulness and values driven living. Beneficial for various psychological disorders and clients that struggle with poor mental health
- Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) focuses on improving relationships and social functioning, very beneficial for clients that suffer from depression and/or anxiety and eating- and mood disorders
- Client- or Person-Centered Therapy, which focuses on empathy, self-exploration, and personal insight through self-discovery, improving self-esteem and helps with anxiety, depression and other emotional issues
